Terms of Service

Clear Terms for Local-First Software

These Terms of Service govern use of the Mythlogic Studios website, Portal IDE, TinyCPUDevAI, related previews, downloadable materials, and install flows that ask you to confirm acceptance before software setup continues.

Effective date: May 8, 2026

1

Acceptance

Using the website, installing software, or clicking the install-time agreement checkbox means you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or continue installation.

2

Local-First Product Boundaries

Product descriptions emphasize offline, local-first operation. Those statements describe the intended runtime architecture, not a promise that every optional integration or future release will be available in every environment.

3

California and U.S. Framing

These terms are written for U.S. operation and are governed by California law, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights that apply where you live.

Terms and Conditions

What These Terms Cover

This page is meant to be readable. It does not replace product-specific commercial agreements, enterprise statements of work, or separately negotiated license terms.

1. Scope of Services

Mythlogic Studios operates a public website, publishes product information, may provide downloadable software, and may offer custom offline AI builds or consulting engagements. Availability, release timing, and feature scope may change without notice unless a signed written agreement says otherwise.

2. Eligibility and Responsible Use

You may use the website and software only in compliance with applicable U.S. law, California law, export controls, sanctions rules, and any local law that applies to you. You may not use the site or software to violate security controls, abuse compute resources, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.

3. Accounts, Contact, and Submitted Material

If you contact Mythlogic Studios, request support, submit a bug report, or discuss a custom build, you are responsible for ensuring the information you send is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Do not send confidential material unless you are willing for it to be used to respond to your request or unless a separate confidentiality agreement is in place.

4. Install-Time Consent

Some installation or bootstrap flows may display or open this Terms of Service page and require an explicit agreement checkbox before dependency installation or setup continues. That acceptance is treated as a binding electronic acknowledgment for the device and user context that performed the install.

5. Intellectual Property

The Mythlogic Studios name, branding, software, site copy, documentation, visuals, and original code remain the property of Mythlogic Studios or its licensors unless a separate written license states otherwise. No implied license is granted by site access alone.

6. Product Statements, Demos, and Forward-Looking Content

Roadmaps, release notes, demos, architecture pages, feature previews, and comparative claims are informational. They may describe work in progress, planned capabilities, or environment-specific behavior. They are not warranties, guarantees of availability, or commitments to future delivery unless explicitly identified as such in a signed agreement.

7. Acceptable Software Use

You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or publish protected software components except as permitted by applicable law or an express written license. You also may not remove attribution, bypass technical restrictions, or use the software to build competing hosted access to Mythlogic Studios materials without permission.

8. Privacy and Local-First Architecture

Mythlogic Studios products may be designed for local-first or offline operation, but you remain responsible for your environment, file handling, backups, endpoint security, and any optional integrations you enable. Website analytics or operational logging related to the public site are distinct from product runtime behavior.

9. Third-Party Components

The software and website may rely on open-source packages, external runtimes, or third-party services. Those components may be governed by their own licenses and terms. Mythlogic Studios is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or license restrictions outside its control.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, software, demos, and documentation are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mythlogic Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or interruption arising from use of the site or software. If liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid Mythlogic Studios for the specific product or service at issue during the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Mythlogic Studios harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the website or software, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party's rights.

13. California Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless prohibited by applicable consumer law, disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and each party consents to that venue and jurisdiction.

14. U.S. Export and Sanctions Compliance

You may not use, export, re-export, or transfer software or technical materials except as permitted by U.S. export control and sanctions laws. By using the software, you represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or acting on behalf of a restricted party or prohibited jurisdiction to the extent such restrictions apply.

15. Changes to These Terms

Mythlogic Studios may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website or software after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
